Today I am going to share with you some great “Photography Ideas on The Floor”. Yes, it is strange that I have avoided this place until now. After all, how many wonderful and sensual poses you shoot here! So, not without pride, I am presenting my new collection: photography ideas on the floor. Get ready, here are both theories and practices.
So, as promised – here is a little theory. On the top, in the illustration, you will find the most popular lying postures. Add a top view (like flat lay) and front view to them, and you have a complete guide to floor photo ideas. Yes, when we say floor, we mean a flat surface on which you can lay down. (You may also like to read – The Ultimate Photo Posing Guide for the best poses,)
Can we use carpets? It doesn’t matter, the main thing is that it does not hang on the wall. Is there a reflective surface? Super, the pictures will be even more expressive. You can get many good reviews, but great reviews are getting references for photography on the floor. Well, as always, do not skimp on the light. If the day is sunny, part the curtains, and leave the tulle.
Photography Ideas on The Floor
1. Lying Back
Your task is to bend as much as possible, demonstrating your chic forms. You hold the feet as if right now you are wearing high-heeled shoes. The legs are bent at the knees, the back is arched upwards, and the hands are artfully wounded behind the head. A languid look is welcome (see photograph below).
If you suddenly do yoga, do not miss the chance to show off your gorgeous stretch! Just put the camera in front of you and start exercising (see photograph below).
Never forget that you can pose for a photo on the floor not only lying down. Here is a great example for you – a girl against the background of a wall, on the floor. Legs crossed, gaze averted.
Speaking of the sitting position, I cannot ignore this option. Here, there is no longer monumental support – its role is played by the hand of the girl herself. Pay attention – the peculiarity of this pose is that the legs and face look in opposite directions. The model seemed to go about her business and then turned around to look into the camera lens.
Another important and (probably beneficial!) moment is that the photographer and the model are at different heights. The first one is always higher – so be careful with the light (experiment and try several different angles for shooting) so that the model does not get circles under the eyes.
3. Bird’s Eye View
Okay, okay, so high we will not climb with you. But we need something like a stool or a chair. And, of course, a wide-angle lens, so as not to glue yourself to the ceiling (photographers will understand).
On the other hand, this pose is a great chance to show off the beauty of your flowing hair if you have long hair. They can be arranged however you like. If the length allows, you can create some pictures or even a word.
4. Laying on the Stomach
Either way, it’s best to lift your legs and cross your ankles. You have to keep your feet still stretched out as if you are wearing high-heeled shoes. By the way, you can try and wear these experiments in photography are always welcome.
Let’s get back to the pose: add some entourage: let there be a carpet with a high pile on the floor or at least a pillow. I’ll tell you a secret: this will not only make the photo more comfortable but also prevent the model from getting tired. As for the plots: the most popular are reading books, sketching with a pencil, or idle time.
It has already become a classic that I leave the most provocative ideas for last. This article is no exception: today about photography ideas on the floor with a mirror and huge ball gowns.
